About me.

I am an amateur photographer. I am passionate about photography, but it is only my hobby. I am not one who believes you can buy a nice camera and suddenly become a “photographer”. That is sorta like buying a stove and calling yourself a chef. Photography is complicated…I should say good photography is complicated.
The literal meaning of photography is "writing (graphy) with light (photo)". Photography, like any other worthwhile pursuit, requires time and learning. I am still learning…and it takes time.

Since I do not make my living doing this, I only shoot when, where, and what I want. Nice bonus. I think Mel Brooks said it best: “It’s good to be the king”. I find that I am much easier to please than a list of clients. Thankfully, I have a full time job, otherwise, I would starve as a photographer.
All that being said, I am willing to do some work just don’t put your expectations above anything that is currently in my portfolio. I am only as good as what you see...better than some but not as good as others.
I have been married over 20 years (to the same wife!) and I have two wonderful children that amaze me and make me proud to be a dad.
